I just received the call I did not want. I am being sent to Newport News, VA to work which is about 4 hours from where I live. I do not know how long I will there.
Packing as we speak. Have to get my knitting projects packed for the tote exchange and mitten KAL as well as make sure I have everything I need for the Christmas Page swap that I just signed up for. I work 12-14 hours a day so I will not get a lot done for awhile.
I will post pictures of my convertible gloves so far in the next post.

Hang in there mom. Hopefully this will be short Storm for you. Regardless, keep making neat stuff. It will make the time go faster.
Hope the time flies by for you. You may have more time than you think to knit tho ... no housework, just knitting & sleeping between work.
Hey Louise - I'm in Norfolk - through the tunnel from NN. You're a short drive up 64 from Knitting Sisters, and on the Va Beachside we have several good yarn shops. Feel free to drop me a line - and I bet you won't be there too long - Ernestos was all about water and it wasn't toooo horrible.
